State Department Per Diem and Allowances

The Department of State Office of Allowances is responsible for establishing maximum per diem rates for federal travelers to foreign areas.

The General Services Administration (GSA) establishes the maximum CONUS (Continental United States) per diem rates for federal travelers.

Federal Travel Regulation (FTR)

This edition of the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) is the "working copy" of the official 41 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) chapters 300-304, which implements statutory requirements and Executive branch policies for travel by federal civilian employees and others authorized to travel at government expense.

USAID Automated Directives System (ADS) Travel Regulations
